As part of the M&P Engineering Laboratory, you will perform a diversified range of tests to support our aircraft platforms anywhere from the development stages to manufacturing, and in-service. What are your contributions to the team? Prepare test specimens to perform tests in various disciplines (e.g., mechanical testing, physical testing, metallurgical evaluation, and chemistry) for quality control of raw materials and manufacturing processes, as well as for special engineering requests, non-conformity assessments, and investigations. Evaluate and interpret test results. Write technical reports. Participate in various company initiatives, such as those aimed at continuous improvement. How to thrive in this role? You are currently pursuing a university/college degree in Materials, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering. You have experience with Composite Materials and/or Mechanical Testing and/or Analytical Chemistry; and/or metallurgical testing. You have practical experience in a laboratory environment and are hands-on. You are a curious, results-oriented person, driven by the search for solutions. You are familiar with international standards such as ASTM, ISO, AMS, SACMA, etc., as well as with typical military and/or aerospace industry standards such as MIL specs, Federal, etc. (an asset);  You are capable of reading and interpreting engineering drawings;  You are familiar with Quality systems like ISO, Nadcap, etc. (an asset);  You have excellent communication skills in both French and English, and in particular, very good writing skills in English;  You are able to work in a team environment and interact with other professionals and technicians on a daily basis;  You are proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint);  Work location and hours Location: Marcel-Laurin Plant 1, Ville Saint-Laurent - On-site presence Working hours: Day shift - flexible working hours to accommodate both the needs of employees and the demands of our business ​ Boarding Information: Location: Marcel-Laurin Plant 1 Duration: 8 months On site  It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates.
