To contribute to our mission, we are looking for a Planning Assistant Officer to join our team in Geneva for a full-time contract lasting 3 to 6 months. Headquartered at Zurich Airport in Switzerland, SR Technics is one of the world-leading MRO service providers in the civil aviation industry and works with an extensive network of partners and business development offices in Europe, America, Asia, and the Middle East. We offer comprehensive, fully customized solutions for the Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul of aircraft engines, airframe, and components including impeccable technical support to over 500 customers worldwide.
As a Planning Officer Assistant (temporary contract) you will supports the Planning Officer in organizing and coordinating Base and Line maintenance activities. This role helps ensure effective use of hangar space, smooth scheduling of aircraft slots, and timely availability of materials and tools. The Assistant also contributes to the accurate reporting and documentation of all maintenance work. Your tasks
Support the Planning Officer in developing and updating short- and mid-term maintenance schedules
Assist in coordinating aircraft slots and hangar usage for upcoming maintenance tasks
Help ensure that required materials, parts, and tools are identified and available before work begins
Monitor task progress and support timely commercial reporting of completed work
Assist with the preparation, shipment, and archiving of maintenance documentation
Maintain communication with internal teams (logistics, operations, technicians) to support smooth planning execution
Help track technician hours and update relevant records as needed
Your Profile
Some experience in planning or logistics (internship, apprenticeship, or first job) — this is a real plus!
Fluent French (spoken and written) and a good command of English (B2 level)
Confident Excel skills to manage and track data effectively
You are proactive, creative and you have a structured and organized approach.
