The Zumtobel Group is an international lighting group and a leading supplier of innovative lighting solutions, lighting components and associated services. With its core brands, Zumtobel, Thorn and Tridonic, the Group offers its customers around the world a comprehensive portfolio of products and services. We are looking for a new team member to join our sales team in Denmark. We’re looking for someone who understands the indoor lighting segment with a key focus on specifiers. You will develop the existing customer base and create opportunities for growth by building and developing those relationships.
Responsibilities
Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business. Refer sales leads, customer feedback, and information on competitor activity to contacts within the organisation so that they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demands. Giving recommendations to develop long-term sales plans for customers and accounts. Monitor, support and adapt sales activities so that business objectives are met. Establish annual, quarterly, monthly, or weekly sales plans and prioritise and schedule own activities to ensure targets are met. Coach other sales representatives on the technical aspects of the organisation’s products and services and support them to achieve their objectives.
Skills & Experience
Good experience in B2B sales, preferably from the lighting industry – indoor luminaires. Well networked with contacts in the Copenhagen and wider Danish region. Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM systems. Personally you would be ambitious, self-motivated and well structured. The ability to find new leads and approach new prospects to strengthen growth and profitability. Good presentation skills and technique, with charisma and personality. Relevant technical education would be an added benefit.
