Sales Engineer - Controls & Solutions Sales Engineer - Controls & Solutions Homebased, National Role, UK SpotLIGHT of the job Tridonic is the Zumtobel Group’s technology provider, at the forefront of the lighting controls industry. We are seeking a Controls and Solutions sales engineer to work in our UK PS&S (Projects, Solutions & Services) department. The role is on a national basis and would ideally (although not essential) be located in the Midlands area but be prepared to travel nationally. Responsibilities You will work in the UK PS&S team with a focus on our OEM customers to support them in the uptake of our Building Asset 360 market approach with a focus on End Users. You will provide clear technical knowledge around our controls platform and work with the multiple stakeholders to help define and articulate their go to market approach. You will take OEM’s through the training of wireless and wired controls, developing strong technical relationships that ensures future selling. Demonstrating how our connected wireless solutions add business value and are the right solution for the applications. You will work with all key stakeholders in the built environment (M&E consultants, Design and Build contractors & QS’s) to create client specifications around the Building Asset 360 approach and support building owners with their digital strategy for a smart building enablement. Work with internally our internal teams (Design & Estimation, Project Management and commissioning) on the development of tenders and proposals for turnkey controls solutions utilising our full range of products and solutions. Skills & Experience A technical understanding of the OEM lighting market (beneficial) very good grasp of controls (wired & wireless) and appropriate applications from a lighting and BMS perspective. Relevant technical education at HND level in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or similar. Experience of working closely with M&E Consultants to specify products. Strong understanding of digital capabilities and the value of data in the built environment A very good communicator who is equally at home addressing engineers or business leaders and senior stakeholders.
